If you read the one that is on the site, it gives the country codes as well as the measurements and levels.

Honestly, the amount makes sense but it is trial and error to get the feel you're looking for.

The info that 'waruta' has kindly supplied is for the gsf400vp and gsf400np, if you have other models then its different.
gsf400k and m models are 553cc oil and 101mm air gap.
gsf400z and gsf400zm is 523cc and 125mm gap.
gsf400vm is 544cc and 110mm gap.
gsf400p is 495cc and 105mm gap.
Im not being clever just quoting from the japanese manual i have that covers all first gen models.
I dont know why they are different except that z models have preload adjustment and the rest dont.

Hi all, no way i can upload as the manual would have to be converted from paper to pdf and im not spending the next year doing it. Ive scanned pages for people in the past so if you need something post up and i will help all i can.
I got it from off yahoo auction as the english manual only covered the 2nd gen VVC and i have an 'M' model 1st gen with VVC on the exhaust.
Most things are the same and i was surprised to find so many differences on looking.
