Gsxr 400 Carbs?
« on: October 02, 2006, 11:28:04 PM »
Picked up some gsxr400 carbs for my bandit 400.  They appear to be almost identical to the stock carbs.  How can I tell the difference?  If i need parts to rebuild them, can i use stock bandit carb parts?  Do they make much of a difference in performance?   Will an aftermarket jet kit for the stock carbs work?   Any replies would be helpful, Thanks.

gsxr 400 carbs are good if you have 32mm carbs if you already have 33mm carbs you are wasting your time. one of my buddies in italy has 32mm on his gixxer400 not sure what happened there. but all parts interchange the gsxr76 carbs are a bit different and alittle wider those ones you would have trouble finding parts for the 76 gixxer also came with 35mm carbs but that was the sp and it had a tps those carbs i would be trying to mount to a bandit 400vv cause they have tps =throttle position sensor. cheers
hope that help
