sorry to leave every one hangin............. i got it out i turned the key to the off position and used a tiny drill bit that would just fit between the grooves in the key... twisted gently untill i felt it grab then slid her out..... felt like .. well you know
I'm not acquainted with the "twist gently until you feel it grab and then slide out" position.
But I'm glad to know you got it worked out.
