You can run BMC 3092 pods with a jet kit, both of which are still available from Factory-Pro

Called them today, dude on the phone wasn't very helpful

$125 is what they want for them, out of stock though.

Looks like all the K&N filters with a 2.25" base only go down to 3.5" O.D at the base, which seems too tight to fit on the close carb spacing of the bandito...

I might look into UNI's...

Well, right now I'm running a K&N but we're already running into severe lean conditions at high RPM. I need to talk to my builder about the possiblity of going to pods, since I know they will aggrivate the situation. If we end up putting a fuel pump in to fix the fuel delivery problems, I think I'll definatly go with pods since I think a pump will make the mixture go way rich.

It's a balancing act, but this thing will snort fire when we're done with it. I figure I'll get a year or two of street riding then have all new seals put in and convert her to a track bike.  :bigok:

There was a guy who posted to the old board that used the handle Stout510 (I think it was) and had individual filters.  He sold the bike, but the pic of them is still on bicpics.com.  Here they are, anybody know what brand?

So the BMC filter number that maniac listed above (which Factory Pro mentions on their site) is a double filter where as the ones on that bike are individual pods.  Which is better for the bandit carbs?

Hey dudes. I was looking at putting pods on my carbs and was wandering, as i live in England it rains a lot, would i have a problem of water getting into the carbs Etc ?
If at first it don't fit .......... Smack it with a hammer(might be the reason my B4 is nackered)

Nah, the carbs are up above the engine and still behind the side covers...

Water in the air as rain/mist isn't really going to hurt anything, although if you drive into water deep enough to have water going over the filters you'll probally suck some up. But then, if your that deep, you have other worries!
