What the heck is a GSX250F?  I have a manual for one of those that I D/Led a while back (a '91).  Just looking at the pics it's a different body and frame but does it have the same motor and other mechanicals?

That's the Across, sorta like a 250 version of a Katana.

Cool.  But does it use the same motor/carbs/electrics... as the B250 which would make the Across manual useful to the good folks of this board?

Good question... I thought someone here in the 250 section a while back had investigated that and found they aren't the same powerplant... but I wouldn't swear to it.

I can vouch for this manual in reguards to the bandit as I have just rebuilt my Bandit 250 after a nasty valve V piston incident  :crybaby:  , the only thing I found different was the carbs, on mine there were 4 single barrel carbs instead of the two twin barrel carbs on the accross. That seems to be the only difference.

Service Manual for the GSF250V

I know of at least one Australian dealer who has a full english version of the manual for 2000 model GSF250V's.

I ring their workshop and usually offer them $20 to copy and fax to me the section I need. They have no issue with doing this as the time as cost is covered. I just give em my credit card number and they have it pumping out the fax within 20 mins

I too was told/though there was no manual in english for the VVT bikes in Aus but there surely is
