Now I just need to figure out how to get the old broken ignition switch out and the new one installed. Doesn't look like any kind of bolt/screw I've ever seen. Any thoughts on that?

I've never actually looked at the ignition switch, but its probably a security torx bit (sometimes called tamper resistant). I know the helmet lock uses security torx. Does it look like this:

If so, you can get a set at most automotive stores.

Nope, kinda looks like an upside-down rivet. According to the manual (found it!) I need a hole punch and a hummer.

Thats right, a hummer.

I guess I have to take the tripple tree off. Right now I just have the new one wedged in behind the headlight and the instrument cluster. That seems to work for now, at least it lets me turn the bike on.

Did anyone buy the front end yet? I need to find a way to get more ground clearence I think to make it worth while. I can'nt get the lean angle on the B12 befor my rear sets start touching down. Next track day, I'll have to put the gsxr shock back on to raise the rear, the R1 tail on to bring my body weight down. And see if I can get more clearence around the track. And see if my legs do'nt get too cramped, because I will be giving up leg room with the R1 tail. If that works out, then I can try to get rid of unsprung weight. And if you still have it,that would be the ticket.

Heh, login in from work since Racer IMed me. :)

Yeah, still have it! I just took the forks out of the box yesterday to look lovingly at them again. Makes me regret trying to sell them. Screw it, the price is now $600!

Joking. Yeah, I still have them. Heck, they are still boxed up, although I need to find one for the wheel I think. $400 + shipping and they are yours if you want them. Shipping shouldn't be too bad, probally $35-$50 for UPS Ground.
