I'm lookin for footpegs aswell the only ones i can find are these. Cos most footpegs on bikes in scrapyards are broken.

As for rear light i got one off ebay for £10 but you can get them cheaper.
Basically ebay or scrapyards.

I just picked up some OEM 01 GSXR pegs.  They fit and look way better than the clunky rubber-clad stock B4 ones.

Bars - any 7/8ths bars will work and they're realatively cheap.  Pick a pullback and rise that suits you.

Headlight - just the bulb or the whole housing and everything?

Tail light - see ^^^.

As for the sprockets and specific suggestions about where to get any of the other stuff - knowing where you are would be helpful.  We have a fairly broad international membership here.

Good luck!

I am looking for the whole assembly for the headlight and my location is in Georgia, USA.  I appreciate all the tips and would like to know any tidbits any one can muster.  My b4 is a 92 and has already been jetted and a full vance and hines exhaust (it sounds pretty good) added.  It has some cosmetic issues and the light stuff is killing me but other than that and the chain all is fine i reckon.  Thanks again and hope to hear more.

For the stock replacement stuff, your best bet is Ebay or the classifieds here.   If you want to spend some money, there are aftermarket dual headlight kits avaiable, but they're all upwards of $200.

I just replaced my stock handlebars with some MX bars.  I'll sell you my stock ones in perfect condition with silver barends for $30 + shipping.

I could be swayed to sell my headlight setup too (so that I can get some dual rounds), but the offer would have to be over $100...

For the head light, I think you can use pretty much any standard round headlight. I actually have a buell blast sealed beam mount on my B4.  It doesn't cost a whole lot to pick one up from the Harley dealer either. As for sprockets and chains, I usually order them from kneedraggers, but since you're out of state, you can also hit up sprocketspecialists.com for your needs- they have decent pricing for chains and sprockets.
Any REAR 525 sprocket that is applicable to the SV650 is applicable to the B400, but I think you will have to stick with the Bandit 400 specific front sprocket though.

Not yet.  They've only been on for a week or so and I've been fighting my carb demons.  I'll try this weekend.

Another option for the headlight, that is probably more readily available, is the naked SV.  I think John/KillerB has one on his.  That would probably give you a bunch of weight savings over the the B4 unit, too.  I do like the chrome on mine, though.

Well... sorry for resurrecting such an old post.  I was cleaning up the disc in my camera and found the pics of my pegs I took for Zhi way back when...

Those pegs look nice. I may have to try a set of those.

I still like the silver and red colors in your bike. Did you paint your wheels/were they always black/I was thinking silver for some reason? Of course, memory is the second thing to go....I forget the first....

Thanks, JC.  I painted the wheels last winter.  I'm real happy with the results.

how did this work?
did you cut the wire @ the harness and use a new connector?
how much better brighter is it - or is it the same?
how much did it cost from harley?

i need to get serious and get a true safer fix for my broken stock headlight.  I want to stay round naked and cheap & readily replaceable though.

Since the Buell Blast uses a standard sealed beam, it should be the same plug as the B4.
