anybody here already changed their rectifiers? just want to know what's the cause of a damaged rectifier? got my rectifier changed already. and how to determine if rectifier is damage? is it usually hot or just normally warm?

If you look at the 400 service manual (Thanks for posting it Bandit Alley!) it gives you guide lines on testing the rectifier. All you need is a circuit tester. I've just done mine... guess what... knackered rectifier...
