Hello to All of your Bandit Feitish ppl out there...
Yes I am happy to admit I am one as well... a Proud owner of 1990 GSF250 Bandit......
But I wanna to be even more Prouder if I can !!!
I bought the bike less than 1 year ago.... been a brand new amature in bike... don't know how to do anything yet ..... But I want to do afew things on it to improve its "cosmetic condition". Such as its Speedo/Tacho casing is broken, need to browse through ebay to find a replacement one..... Tank, well, both side have dents and scratches (one from previous owner, another one from me falling off the bike at a down pour rain while riding down hill on a Tram track.... Rain, bike, metalic track don't mix !), and lastly Luggage rack ...... want to carry things on the bike to sports ....
To make the question I have in simpler form....
1. Speedo/tacho device... How rare is it to get them... seems I rarely see them on ebay !!!! may have to pay high price with wreckers for it......
2. Old tank is only 14L tank inclusive of reserve.... I want to be able carry larger capacity... anyway we can use other model, such as B400's tank instead? even though it is extra 1 or 2 L more than B250, but that is definately better than refueling every 120km without hitting reserve (which equivalent of 1 and 1/2 trip back and forth to work).
3. God help me find a luggage rack that I can use on the Pre-1995 250 Bandit Luggage rack.... I want to carry my gears for my sport on the back, which can weight up to 8kg.......
Help??? anyone ?? please ????
After this is all sorted, I will be able to do some more improvement of my bike...
