Third-Party Books
« on: August 11, 2005, 06:30:18 PM »
I've tried to find a third-party Chilton's- or Hayne's-type book for the '400, but it appears no such book exists. Am I correct? If so, I did see a book for the '600. Is there any info in there that could be applied to the '400?

While I ordered the service manual for the '400, it's always good to have a Chilton's- or Hayne's-type reference book which covers work process particulars for your bike.

If there IS a book out there for the '400, please let me know. Thanks.

not sure if there is a Hayne's/Chilton's for the Bandit 400, but it is a different animal than the Bandit 600 or 1200 (which are closer to each other).   For starters, the Bandit 400 is water cooled whereas the B6 and B12 are air/oil cooled.
