There is a very definite ratio between how you ride and your fuel mileage... I call it the "adrenaline factor".
As the adrenaline goes up, the MPG goes down.
Look at it this way... regular folks pay good $$$ for a rollercoaster ride. We pay a little extra $$$ for a roadrocket ride... and we get to be the pilot! 
That like the 'device' a motoring magazine suggested should be used in all vehicles as a fuel saving measure. This device is already fitted as standard to every vehicle made, but is not utilised by many drivers. The device is a LRF, or for motorcyclists LRH.
