EASTER LONG WEEKEND
« on: March 24, 2005, 06:54:34 AM »
G'day, just a quick one to wish you all a happy Easter.

If you travelling, stay safe and watch out for Mr Plod.  Be extra carefull in NSW, we've got our usual double demerit points weekend.  Basically that means if your in a car and 2 people aren't wearing seat belts, you can say goodbye to your licence and 30k's over the limit your gooooooonnne.

The family and I (less No 1 son) are going to the drags in Narrandra - watching other people going at lunatic speeds.  I tried to talk the treasurer into letting me take the B12 and M750 over, but she wouldn't be in it, this time.  Besides the B12 needs a new front and the M750 needs a new chain and sprocket set...........I wonder how the '85 Colt would go over a 1/4 mile

Got a calendar?

No 3-day weekend for us in the States...
The "separation of church and state" crowd would have a freakin' cow.

yep they've forced me off the road during holiday times with the "policing" of NSW.  So out comes the mountain bike!!! (you thought a B12 was easy to wheelstand!)
That's impressive,
and I'm not easily impressed.

Look, a blue car!

I'm afraid that riding bikes without an engine isn't something I've done willingly since I was 20, which is about 20 years ago.

The Treasurer will be driving this week end, she's got more points left then I do.

What a wonderful weekend.  The eldest was in Melbourne umpiring Softball, the yougest had the PC and PS2 to himself (No whinging about getting a fair go), and the Drag Racing in Narrandra was brilliant.

The Treasurer and myself are definately taking the B12 and M750 over next time and giving it a go ourselves, it looked like too much fun.  Unfortunately the next meeting won't be until the October long weekend.

I hope everyone elses weekend was a enjoyable.  Oh and to top it of my footy team had a win, then again they were only playing Richmond.

It's a real shit isn't it, when the weathers perfect for a ride something else crops up that stops you from going....usually the lack of money.
