Great write up Paul!  Awesome pics, thanks for sharing them with us.  :)
Maybe next time you will find a shirt that will fit Uncle Peteeee!  Any mechanical issues other than the tire on Matt's bike?  Glad you had a great time!

:thanks: and you're welcome.  :beers:

Matt's tire survived the trip, just barely. He did a celebratory burnout in front of his house the day after our return. It was a big hit with the neighborhood kids.

The only other thing remotely associated with mechanical issues besides the tire and my chain adjustment was we both had a little oil consumption. I attribute it to lots of high-rpm running. About the only time the engines were below 5000 rpm was when we motored thru towns.

Nice writeup. I don't have much to add, except to tell everyone that you vacuum pack your underwear.

Huh?  All that and no pic of the chick in the BABB t-shirt?????

 :stickpoke:

Well, great write-up anyway.   :thanks:

Go back and read that part again, Rob... I didn't take a pic of the waiter. If you're really interested in tall geeky lookin' male college grad students workin' summer jobs near their favorite playgrounds, I'll keep that in mind on my next trip and take some pics just for you.

You went back and edited that!  Didn't you??   :duh:   Guess you can tell where my mind is.

Still, nicely done.  I did manage to comprehend that you saw some great scenery and played on some amazing roads.

I always enjoy your write-ups.

Nope... always said waiter. You just wanted to some buxom lass stretching out a tee with BABB on her boobs... that's OK, I won't tell your wife. Not today anyway.

Thanks! I enjoy writing them. While not as much fun as the ride, it does allow me to relive the whole experience when I write it down. If you enjoyed the story, be sure to click on those DH links and scope out the videos for an added dimension.
(Might be time consuming for dial-up users. I've never tried to watch the videos from my dial-up home connection.)

With the bridge, we stopped at a scenic viewpoint to check out the area and each of us rode back over the bridge, turned around and came back. The other shots were pretty much turn taking.
