I have some light scratches on my windscreen and was wondering if anyone has had any advice fro getting rid of them.

I've always used the hand method, but I suppose it may depend on the depth and/or quantity of scratches. This is the stuff we used in the military for cleaning and polishing helicopter windshields, windows and chin bubbles...

I have a 1996 600 S and my winshield has all kinds of very fine scrathes in it. I used Blue Magic Plexiglass cleaner and all I got was a very clean scratchy windshield.

My srtaches all run one direction and its like they are in the middle of the plexiglass not on the surface. Looks like a replace for me.

Going to try the non hand method with some of the Meguiar's plastic polish maybe tomorrow....

Dumb @$$ in an effort to keep my bike safe and clean will transporting on truck, I left the cover on. Now I have all these fine scratch/rub marks right up the middle.

I don't know if you are able to get it where you are but in NZ we have a product called Brasso. Brasso is a metal polish and can be used on a variety of things, brass, silver stainless steel (great for exaust systems). The guys at the local boating club use it to clean and remove light scratches from the windscreens on thier very expensive boats. I have seen it used and the results. In my humble opinion it works very well.

Sorry should have also said just log onto trusty old google and type in "brasso". This will display a number of UK suppliers.

i found two different Maguirs Polishes for Plastic which should I use #10 or #17?
