Hey folks, new Bandit 1250 owner here. I'm up in the Seattle area, and a week or so ago my CBR had some chain/sprocket trouble on our way to the races at Laguna Seca. Stopped into a dealer in San Francisco and picked up a new chain and sprockets ... and engine, fairing, handlebars etc. Yup, I just needed one more good excuse to buy the 1250 I've been lusting for, and that stretched chain put me over the edge.

So I've had the bike a little over a week, and I've already got about 2700 miles on her! Yes, I did the 600 mile oil and filter change (my appologies to the Motel 6 in Salinas for the oil slick in their lot).

I missed this thread! Another new 1250SA owner here. Traded in a Honda 919 for a brand spanking new bandit this week and couldn't be happier. Posted my first impressions here.  I'm in western New York -- just east of Rochester. Thanks for having me!

I was a gawker at this site long before now, but it's time to make my first post.  I have used it as a source of advice since I like to do my own tinkering on my naked B12.  I bought my bandit last summer and have enjoyed the heck out of this bike.  I'm in central MN and everybody around here rides cruisers or plastic bikes.  I hope to ride until the snow flies; I put her away much too early last year.  

I look forward to more great info from my fellow bandit riders.

Heya, i've been floating around the board for a while now, used to hang in the 400 section the most seeing as thats what i had. (until another cager decided to ram me off the road   )
Replaced with a newer and nicer B6 (Y Model - 2G) naked. Lovely bike, something about the Bandits that make them great for all types of riding.

Live in the South West (Bristol) of the UK, some nice roads around this way, just need the time to hit them all. Well thats me in a nutshell.

I just bought the 1250 Bandit 2 weeks ago to replace my SV1000s. We took it to Ga. for a 4 day ride through the skyway, the gap, foothills and B.R parkway. I put close to a 1000 miles on it (2 days of rain). This bike is smooth. I like everything about it but the front tire in the rain and that is an easy fix. I think I will be keeping this one for a while.

I'm the latest addition to the board!

I come from Quebec Canaduh.  own a slighly modded 2005 Bandit 1200S that i'm tinkering with to make dragstrip friendly but to keep it roadworthy at the same time.  I got the chronic dragracing bug last summer when i finished third over 97 bikes at Napierville dragway.

  Marc-Andre....  there's a couple other drag racers on the board.  Keep us posted on your progress.

BTW - Sweet time... best I came up with was a 11.97 @ 115 but that was bone stock.

I think I'm confused.  Not hard to do these days,...

But what makes you think we disappeared?  We've been here the whole time, albeit under different website addresses.  When Pete couldn't spend anytime on the site, I took the backup to members.stormi.ca/BABBS, I did send out a notification when we did that, I guess you didn't get one?  I may have hit a lot of spam folders.

Then we moved to our permanent domain, banditalley.net, what, a month ago now?, once I had time to do that....

But the user database,... were you not able to log in?  If you had to create a new user, you sure have been busy in the last day, what with 100+ posts.
