Looking for a choke cable
« on: July 25, 2013, 10:20:22 PM »
So the bike I bought has a rigged up choke cable that I can't handle dealing with. Not to mention it looks like crap.  Asked two people on here who were parting out B4's for theirs but got no response.  Don't feel like spending the 40$ at bikebandit on and OEM one.

Let me know if anyone has one laying around.

Thanks!

You can do what I did:

Go to a bike (bicycle) shop and get a cable with a matching end for the lever and then go to an auto parts store in the Help! isle and look for carb cable ends.

You should be able to ring something up from there and the total cost should be under $20. You won't be able to insert the carb end into the old housing but it should be able to push the slide over. The spring should be able to return the slide back.
