Ok guy's im looking at changng the rear shock on my bandit 250 for a GSXR750J or L model. What i want to know is how one would support the bike while doing this?

I noticed some form of bracketry on the bottom of the frame, is this for a service center stand of sorts? if it is... where do i get one??

Yes. The B4, and I assume the 250 since they use the same frame, came stock with a center stand. Where to get one? Ebay, breakers, Suzuki... the usual places.

If your bike doesn't have the centre stand (located behind the front left footpeg) DON'T get one fitted!

Besides the fact that it will be hard to find, they are crap for ground clearance (especially with pillion) so my advice is get a paddock stand.
They're about £30 and generally universal

When chaning the rear shock im going to need somewhere else to support the bike rather then the swingarm. That would be no good

My center stand is gone, too. I hung mine from the celing by the passenger grab rails when I changed mine.

D'oh silly me. Well still try to avoid putting a centre stand on the bike
