Sprockets and chains
« on: August 07, 2006, 10:36:49 AM »
My chain is extremely loose and I am getting a new one.  Since the sprockets are originals i am getting those replaced too.  I was looking at vortex racings and they have a rear sprocket for the gsf 400 that is "520 conversion", but no front sprocket.  I am curious to how this works and what is required, and if this conversion is better (i am only riding around the streets, no racing and any extreme driving).

Thanks a lot

what the hell is the 520 conversion...just switching out the front and rear sprockets with a different pitch?

Well, email doesn't work... I sent off 3 over 8~10 days and never even got a single reply past my read receipts.  Not too worried about it now as the money I thought I had to spend, got spent on insulation for my attic.  :/

So call them, don't email.
Cheers,
