jetting
« on: March 15, 2008, 09:06:02 AM »
1st gen 1200 with dale's stage 2 kit  holeshot full pipe. bike runs great wide open but if i get into traffic and need to ride below 3000 rpm's it will load up and foul a plug or 2. i think im 3 turns out on the mixture screws. what im asking is do the  needles need dropped or pilots need to be smaller? think im on the highest clip on the needles. jet kit was in before the pipe was put on this year

Is the timing advancer in? I installed the stage1 without the timing advancer and it had symptoms much like yours...
