I just received some Rizoma frame sliders. When installing these which use the bolt holes to engine mounts I should use lock tight right? If so which lock tight is the non-permanent? If you know of any other items on the bike that should have the non- permanent lock tight please let me know them as well. Thanks.

I can find no reason not to use the blue stuff and just about everything. I will just stay away from the red which is almost permanent.

I think it would be safe to use blue on just about any thing. At work I saw some mechanics use some strange loctite and behold they have about every kind you will ever need now. low temp hi/lo... high temp hi/lo and about everything in between. Check it out

In the "old days" we use to use the yellow "super weather strip adhesive" and/or good ole high temp or regular silicon on the threads.

I would go with the blue stuff. It ain't going anywhere with that stuff on it!

It probably depends on what type of bolt you're putting the stuff on. Red sticks real well so i wouldn't use it on screws or allen head bolts. You may strip it before the loc-tite breaks. If its a nut or bolt where you can get a good box wrench on it, go for the real sticky stuff.
