Just found the introduction page.  been on here a while.  I am 42 years old been an on and off biker for 20 plus years.  I am a fire dispatcher in edmonton and a parttime EMT/fire fighter in Fort Saskatchewan. I now have a 2007 1250s black.  I bought it last month and have about 5000 kms on it.  I did the hand guard mod and the touring windshield is coming this week.  here are some pics

Long time rider, New member here.  Looks like a decent enough place!  Will be making the transformation to my first Bandit (2007 1250S, 3300 miles) this weekend in a trade for my current ride, an '07 DL650 VStrom.  Looking forward to the TORQUE!

Welcome Scubadvr!  Nice Ride!
Where are you located?  I see you've ridden through my state.  I've seen a few bandits around Franklin and Bellevue (Nashville version), TN.  Some older, some newer.

Keep 'er safe, and Have Fun!

I'm in Missouri.  Rode to Nashville (actulaly Mt Joliet) and back last week to pick up the Bandit.  I love the roads in Tennessee, especially around the Smokies.

Couple of more pics:

Well, That's funny, 'cause I bought my bike in Mt. Juliet.  Road from Missouri, to Mt. Juliet to buy the bike.  wow.  That's quite a trip.  I've driven a lot of those roads.

I like the shield, looks like stock with an add on.  How well is the ride with that?

Well, I'll quit pestering you now.

It's a good ride; I think it's a Laminar add-on; it came with the bike that way.  It puts the wind stream at the bottom of the helmet, but it's clean air.  I've been thinking about taking it off and just using the stocker, because it's so hot here this week (98 today with a HI of 110).

1st post for me. I am active on other boards and going through my favorites I saw the forum and realized I had never been active. I ride a '02 1200 :bandit: naked, of course. Ain't that the way to go? Bought mine new in '04 from an dealers add in a local paper, never seen it until I paid for it and I ride it every chance I get. I, myself have been riding for 40+ years. I'll be around, back later.

My name is Scott and I too ride a bandit. Picked up a used one about a month ago,2001 S model with 9600 miles for $2500.I commute on it everyday 60miles round trip.I live in Goodyear, Arizona(just west of Phoenix)I've just got rid of my 2008 Concours14,loved the bike, hated the payments since laid off in January, but you know what they say
"A paid for bike rides different"...yeah it rides like it's 8 years old....LOL All joking aside I love the roll on when am running around four grand and this thing is still stock(except for ZG windscreen) First thing first I've got to hook up the audio vox cruise control, since I had it on the concours,I've already saw someone had a small write up here so off I go to read some more.

Hiiiii, Scott.  Welcome to the Bandit Alley 12-Step Program.  You will soon lose the temptation to go back to that massive Connie and first thing you know, you'll be getting your 1-year token.  (OK, so I've been watching RESCUE ME....)
